Habitats : Open grassland, damp flood-meadows. marshes and in grassland next to hedgerows and lanes

Flight Period : Single-brooded, July to August

Larval foodplants : Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris), less often Rough Chervil (Chaerophyllum temulum), Hemlock (Conium maculatum) or Hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium)
