Local Status : Uncertain (SMP Status 4) Habitats : Woodland clearings, grassland, fens and moorland Flight Period : Single-brooded; May to June Larval foodplants : On leaves of Bog-myrtle (Myrica), Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea) and other herbaceous plants, also spruces (Picea), pines (Pinus) and larches (Larix) Morley's Final Catalogue : A local species, feeding on Vaccinium which does not grow in Suffolk and Myrica which is rare here. Not observed since before 1890, when it was taken at Tuddenham in the Breck fens (Wrn). Wingspan details : Wingspan 13-16mm Identification
