Habitats : Coastal limestone areas and sandhills, chalk grassland and open woodland

Flight Period : Single-brooded; June to early September

Larval foodplants : On the leaves of roses (Rosa) and particularly Burnet Rose (Rosa pimpinellifolia) in coastal districts

Records : Bungay (1906)

Wingspan details : Wingspan 14-19mm
