Local Status : Uncertain (SMP Status 4)

Habitats : Sallow scrub on open heathland or damp grassland

Flight Period : Double-brooded; May to early June and July to early August

Larval foodplants : Small-leaved sallow species - Eared Willow, Grey Willow

Morley's Final Catalogue : So extremely rare is this local species with us that Mr. Edmund Skepper of Bury's old record of its occurrence at Lowestoft still remains unique. We form the north extremity of its British range.

Wingspan details : Forewing 12-14mm, Wingspan 26-29mm
